This is a design of the early model from the Kiha 58 series that was used all over Japan as an express type diesel railcar.
Power and bogies use Rokuhan shorty. Motorizing takes a little effort, but we reviewed it many times so that it would run smoothly, and released it after repeatedly verifying the ease and certainty of the work.
Line up
There are 3 types of trains, but for Kiha 58, we have released a body and chassis for motorization, so there will be 4 types of releases.
Model details
The body shell is designed with detailed work such as polishing and painting in mind. It’s a small model, but I valued the impression.
Please see each part with the assembly sample.
It’s small, but the details of the painting can change the impression. The detail protrusions have the same width and height, making it relatively easy to paint details with a brush.
The diameter of the hole for the headlight is 0.6 mm, the diameter of the hole for the taillight is 0.4 mm, and it is possible to pass optical fibers of 0.5 mm and 0.3 mm, respectively. It may be good to aim for lighting.
Please also see the details of each part.

About motor-powered trains
Motor-powered trains are designed to use Rokuhan’s shorty power chassis, a product with stable performance.

Parts such as current collector plate processing and springs are required separately, but all are designed to use commercially available N gauge. The procedure is explained in detail in the published assembly guide, so you don’t have to worry about assembling.
The link to the assembly guide is described later, so please take a look.
By the way, as you can see in the picture of the assembly part, the underfloor equipment is also expressed as much as possible.

Regarding the traction force of the power chassis for Shorty made by Rokuhan, there was no problem in running a 5-car train with 4 trailers connected on flat ground without replenishing weights.
About trailer trains
The trailer train uses the bogie of the trailer chassis for Shorty made by Rokuhan. This dolly has a built-in current collector terminal. Each chassis has a groove for the current collector plate similar to that of a motor train so that the current collector function can be utilized.
About assembly guide
For the composition and assembly method of train parts, we have created an assembly guide, so please refer to the link below.
